We've had a wonderful journey in life,
You and I!
Oh how those years went fleetingly by.

I thank you for letting spread my wings
by giving me courage to try impossible
things.

You gave me strength when I thought I was
weak,
And lifted my spirits when times were bleak.

With happy laughter and a smile,
you were there for me.
Without conditions, lovingly.

I thank you for letting me...be me!
And giving your love, so unselfishly.

For the rest of my days, I'll hear the sound
of your voice,
And see the smile on your face.

How blessed we were to have shared this
life's special place.

You have been the lumber of my life,
not the lumber of a tavern but of a temple!

And where ever I go, what ever I do< br>you will always be a part of me, my love!

Wipe away my tears and hold my heart close
from your heavenly cloud up above.
